Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 until January 19th January 19, 2008) was an American theatre, film, television, and voice actress. Pleshette started out in theatre. She appeared in films during the 1950s in the latter half of the decade. Later, she became a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette appeared regularly on a variety of TV productions. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1 and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer, who worked under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan as well as the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
