Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She's the co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington works as an writer, journalist, TV host, and owner of The Huffington Post. Her birthplace was Greece she relocated to England at the age of sixteen and then completed her studies at Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. Alongside this, she led the Detroit Project for efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Forbes named her as one of the "most powerful female" in media with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL acquired The Huffington Post from AOL in 2011. Then she was appointed the President of the media division at AOL. The group included several AOL owned properties like Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli was the son of Konstantinos, a management and journalism consultant. Even though she was close to her father, her connection to her mom was the defining factor in the course of her entire life. In her early years she demonstrated the leadership abilities for which she's still known. When she was 16 she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her study and then enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. While in college, she joined Cambridge Union's debate societies in the college where she eventually became its first foreign female president. In 1972, she earned an education in Economics. She was a journalist television host, and columnist upon her graduation. Her appearance in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also noteworthy. She started writing books with his guidance to edit.
