Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and actress famous for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and was raised within Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with Polio. When she was growing up it was not easy to get along with her mom. Sheryl claims that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was being too close with her. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from the college. However, her interests lay in comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career as frequently performing on The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! The present co-host on Talk Talk since 2011. Also, she's appeared in fictitious programs like Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
